Teaching Like Christ Webinar Series ($)
If anyone could ever be described as the ideal teacher, that person would have to be Jesus Christ. Looking to Him as an ideal type of teacher, what can we learn?
Christ the Word, Christ the Logos, exemplifies three key characteristics for teachers to learn from today. First, teaching must always be logocentric: There is some truth (or, in the case of Christ Himself, the Truth) that is being taught. Teaching assumes, believes, demands that truth is real, that it can be known, and that it can be communicated. Teaching like Christ, then, begins with a logos, a truth that is to be taught.
From there, He demonstrates two ways to teach that truth: Mimetic and Socratic.
This video series introduces Mimetic Teaching and Socratic Teaching in a way that will enable you to be more intentional about modeling your teaching after Christ.
