Kristin earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College with a major in Music and nearly a minor in Philosophy. She will graduate from the CiRCE Apprenticeship this spring. She began home schooling after a brief stint at a Montessori school and never looked back. Her oldest graduated from Gutenberg College, and she spends her days with her younger two reading, conversing, and enjoying life together.
With the exception of horse books, she didn’t love reading until after college when Dostoevsky captivated her with Brothers Karamazov. When not preparing lessons and indulging in rabbit trails during Morning Time conversations with her children, she can be found wandering the yard admiring the flora and fauna of the Arizona desert, caring for various animals large and small, preparing for church choir rehearsals, or simply eating chocolate.
