Teacher

Christy Jones is finishing her third year of the CIRCE Apprenticeship program as part of the Mid-Atlantic group. She home schooled her two daughters for 15 years and worked as a teacher in a private, Christian school. As a youngster, she graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, specializing in Radio Broadcast.

Christy lives in the woods in rural Missouri, thirty miles from where Mark Twain was born and 40 miles from where Sir Churchill delivered his famous “Iron Curtain” speech. It should not surprise you that she has a beloved Scottish terrier named Winston. Christy enjoys reading great stories, gardening, acting in community theater, and beekeeping. Her favorite life experience was touring the home of C.S. Lewis and nearly walking over his grave in England.
