Early Christianity and the Greeks

Justin Martyr on Greek Poetry, Philosophy, and Theology

In this webinar, Matt Bianco will look at the writings of the early Christian apologist, St. Justin Martyr (also called St. Justin the Philosopher). Justin Martyr wrote in defense of Christianity against the writings of the early Greeks, but he did so in a way that is highly illuminating of those Greek teachings. For, in dissuading the Greeks of their theology, he shows them why they are wrong, but in persuading them to Christianity, he shows them why they are right.

Join Matt Bianco to learn more about the teachings and writings of the early Greeks through the lens of St. Justin Martyr's writings to those Greeks.
