Join Brian Phillips for a journey through Sir Gawain and the Loathly Lady, a marvelous, yet lesser-known tale of Gawain, one of King Arthur's most noble knights! The seminar will include an introduction to the story, comparisons of this story with other well-known knights’ tales, and an exploration in how this story captures the real heart of chivalry.
Attendees are encouraged to read the Selina Hastings version, if available
• The seminar will be recorded, however, you must sign up before January 16th to have access to it. Registration will be cut off at 2:00pm (EST) on January 16th.

Brian Phillips is the Headmaster of The CiRCE Academy and Director of CiRCE Consulting, in addition to writing a regular column for the Institute. Having been involved in classical education for over a decade, Brian has served as a Head of Rhetoric School and a teacher of humanities and rhetoric. He is the pastor of Holy Trinity Reformed Church in Concord, NC, and an adjunct faculty member at Belmont Abbey College. He is the author/editor of Sunday Mornings: An Introduction to Biblical Worship, the new edition of Classical Education: The Movement Sweeping America, and The Space Between: A Guide to the Iliad.
