In this unique event Andrew Kern, author of the book, Classical Education: The Movement Sweeping America and The Lost Tools of Writing classical writing curriculum, will be speaking on the value and merits of classical Christian education in an age of anxiety-driven schooling. Currently, the American culture of learning is driven by test scores and getting into college and acquiring jobs. But classical Christian education is inherently driven by the search for wisdom and virtue. In this workshop, Andrew Kern will discuss how classical Christian education can be taught from a state of rest rather than a place driven by anxieties and pressures, and how we can assess in a way that blesses our students above all.
