In this event, CiRCE Certified Master Teacher and Head Mentor of the Gulf Coast CiRCE Apprenticeship, Renee Mathis, will offer a detailed introduction to The Lost Tools of Writing. She will reveal how to solve the three problems all writers face; the questions that make for the kind of deep thinking that leads to good writing; and why writing doesn't need to be a stressful, intimidating process.

45 minutes will be set aside for lunch. There will be plenty of time for questions and interaction throughout the event.

Notes about the location:

  • Paid parking is available in the 100 row only of the church parking lot on the corner of Church St. and 4th Ave. (Cars do get towed from other rows.)
  • Free parking is available in the parking garages at 123 4th Ave. South (closest to school) and 108 2nd Ave South.
  • Enter the church from the parking lot, go to second floor, workshop will be held in large classroom with double doors at end of long hall.
