Each year teachers plan the course to be run; we identify books to be read and we assign papers to be written. What are we using to guide our decisions? Sometimes a school assigns us a textbook to teach; other times a state mandate requires a subject to be taught. Classical education’s four elements are held in unity when teachers attend to how wisdom, virtue, and tradition are taught. In this brief talk Andrea Lipinski will speak to the nature of classical education, how focusing on that informs the lessons we teach, and how treating each lesson appropriately will guide the student and teacher in becoming what they behold
