Since graduating from The University of Maryland MFA program in 2001 (and Johns Hopkins in 1991), Christine Perrin has taught poetry at Johns Hopkins University, Messiah College, and Gordon College’s Orvieto Program. She directs the writing program at Messiah College. She is a two-time recipient of the PA Arts Council Artists Fellowship. She is the poetry editor of Circe’s Forma journal. Her own work appears in various journals including The New England Review, The Cresset, Image, TriQuarterly, Blackbird, and Christianity and Literature. The Art of Poetry a text book for middle to high school students was published in 2009. Bright Mirror is her first book of poetry. She is the mother, godmother, and grandmother of Zoe, Elle, Noah, Scott, Samuel, Matrona, Grace Catherine, Emilia, Sophia, Katherine, Nora Genevieve, Jesse, and Grant Matthew. She is married to Christopher Perrin and they live in Pennsylvania.
