This includes: • Readiness to learn from Valor’s superintendent and executive team • Hiring outstanding faculty, staff and school leaders • Creating and maintaining fiscally responsible budget • Ensure successful implementation of Valor curriculum • Develop and execute a practice of coaching teachers and school leaders • Oversight of teacher assignments and classroom schedules • Oversight of student discipline • Oversight of all campus operations, including special events • Reporting and compliance • Achieving fundraising goals in collaboration with director of academy giving • Oversight of parent and external communication • Management of the school's curriculum, instructional coaching, student culture and discipline, parent communication, campus operations, and fundraising. The Head of School will ensure that all aspects of Valor's K-12 program reflect the school’s classical vision and educational philosophy, with its commitment to cultivating wisdom and virtue.
