Regents School of Austin is continually recruiting talented Rhetoric (High) School Teachers - All Subjects are being accepted however, positions are filled based on vacancies. Specific position openings are usually begin to be determined by February, however, Regents will often connect with candidates sooner to identify talented individuals for future unknown vacancies. Current specific positions are: 1) Rhetoric (High) European and American Literature 2) Rhetoric (High) Classical and Medieval History Modeling a love of learning, faculty at Regents commit to expanding their expertise beyond their formal training, upholding and teaching excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Qualified candidates will have at least a Bachelor’s degree, three years of relevant classroom experience, and Christian maturity that demonstrates a desire and capacity to create a healthy classroom environment and develop a commitment to learning in students. Successful candidates will have experience and expertise in the following: *Understanding pedagogical skills and objectives in a classical, Christian model. *Teaching through student discussions and extensive researched writing assignments while providing timely and instructive evaluation. *High self-understanding, interpersonal communication, self-organization, and motivation. *This position will regularly interact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators and requires strong interpersonal competency and the ability to build trust and rapport.
