Grammar School (K-4th grade) classroom teacher Summary: This position has responsibility for one classroom of Grammar School students. The teacher is responsible for classroom instruction two days per week (Monday and Wednesday), for executing lesson plans and assignments, and for posting assignments to the school’s online portal for parent co-teachers to access. Curriculum and materials will be provided. This position reports to the Head of School (or the Board as it functions as the Head of School during the first year). Position type: Part-time: 10 instructional hours per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, plus additional preparation time as needed. Some training and in-service days are also required. Start date: Classes begin the last week of August. Training for incoming teachers will take place in early August. Required minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; agreement with and support of the school’s statement of faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the classical model of education. Additional desirable qualifications: Teaching experience at a classical school; teaching certification; advanced degree ___________ Logic School (5th-6th grade) classroom teacher Summary: This position has responsibility for one classroom of Logic School students. The teacher is responsible for classroom instruction two days per week (Monday and Wednesday), for executing lesson plans and assignments, and for posting assignments to the school’s online portal for parent co-teachers to access. Curriculum and materials will be provided. This position reports to the Head of School (or the Board as it functions as the Head of School during the first year). If a Logic School Teacher also teaches an elective course, this would add two additional instructional hours per week. Start date: Classes begin the last week of August.
