John Paul the Great Academy (JPG) is a small, Catholic, college preparatory school that preserves and promotes the sacred traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. JPG is currently seeking applications for both Upper School and Lower School faculty members. All teaching positions are full time for the 2018-2019 academic year, beginning in July to prepare for the fall. Highly qualified applicants should: -Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. -Commit to assist with select extracurricular activities, such as clubs, sports and pilgrimages. -Desire to teach within a classical curriculum. -Be able to complete Safe Environment training and successfully complete background check requirements. -Adhere to the Teacher Commitment: to Teach as Jesus Taught (http://jpgacademy.org/our-commitment). -Pledge fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Additional qualifications that are desirable include: -Qualifications that allow flexibility to teach within multiple subject areas and grade levels. -Completion of a master’s degree. -Experience in a classical education setting.
