Bishop Machebeuf High School is seeking a teacher to cover a planned family leave. The interim position will cover two senior Humanities seminars (19th century History, Literature, and Philosophy). The teacher will receive plans from the teacher on leave and be supported by the Humanities team and Assistant Principal for Academics. The position will run from August 5th through October 29th. Candidates must have: • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree. • Extensive knowledge of, and educational background in, literature and the Great Books. • Exposure to the disciplines of philosophy and history. Experience working with high school students preferred but not mandatory. Salary Range: • Pay will be based on experience and education.
